Ambiental exhibition Challenge of Light resembles a peculiar observatory inside of which the viewer is faced with an abundance of visual, light and sound sensations that are diving out of the darkened surrounding space and are guiding his movement. Accordingly, every object conditions the perception of others, while space itself becomes an equally active factor as the substance that resides in it.
The principle of light refraction and diffusion through floating membranes-sculptures is author’s metaphor and a possible visualization of the transmission of consciousness. By moving through trapezoid-like narrowed and by side panels elongated gallery, the viewer experiences multiple changes of shapes and light. Suggestive organic, semi-transparent forms change their outlines and the intensity of shine through different viewpoints. Even though they are lit from the outside, they seem as if they are the source of light themselves. Composed ambient background sounds enhance the meditative scenery of the display.
