Panacea is a series of kinetic objects whose name as well as form suggest its shape of a capsule. The name comes from ancient Greek mythology and is used as a metaphor for the cure of all diseases*.
The all-present trend of general solutions for every „itch" is transformed into the opportunity of a funny game. Kinetic element depends on interaction with the viewer whose intervention/pushing, causes the objects to spin, circle, swing... and return to their position because of their low center of gravity. The interaction with these objects acts as the fun therapeutic game while at the same time it questions and ironizes our need for instant solutions to every problem.
